This author’s name has come up a few times at Reading Seals, and I was feeling the need to branch out after having limited myself (pretty much) to University Required Reading, and books from my Waitshelf, since the end of February. That’s a long time not to have a bunch of library books on the go. I think I was suffering depletion.
No longer! I read 2 books on the aeroplanes that took me from Auckland to Wellington, Wellington to Dunedin (same plane, but we had to disembark and then re-board just 10 minutes later), and then from Invercargill to Christchurch and finally from Christchurch back home to Auckland. As you’re no longer allowed to take anything remotely resembling dangerous on the planes, I couldn’t do my crochet (I’ve just started making ♬ “Ten Green Bottles Hanging on the Wall” for Jimmy), so it had to be reading (yeah, I know – a BIG sacrifice – lol (as my daughter would say)).
