Starkiller is a secret apprentice to Darth Vader. To prove he is ready to come out of hiding, Darth Vader sends him on several missions to kill Jedi that are in hiding. Helping him are his droid Proxy, and a fighter pilot, Juno. As he fights the Jedi, he begins to question if what he has been taught is correct. [return][return]This was so-so. Because Starkiller believes in the Dark Side of the Force the story is darker. There is lots of anger, betrayal and hate as well as Sith style fighting, aka destroy everything. I never really connected with any of the characters. The writing was a little choppy and I found the third person narratives to be oddly phrased. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I kept stumbling over the writing. It made a better video game than a book.
