It’s been eight months since Caleb left Paradise and he has never contacted Maggie. She has done her best to move on. So she joins Re-START, a program where teens talk about how drunk driving affected their lives. When Caleb gets in trouble again he has to join the Re-START program or go to jail. The month long trip will give them one last chance to resolve their issues and see if they can make their relationship work. [return][return]Having enjoyed Leaving Paradise so much I was expecting a lot from this story. I was a little disappointed in it. Maggie and Caleb were much less compelling this time around. It felt more like a formulaic romance with a big helping of drama on the side. The secondary characters were not very deep and frankly a few drove me crazy. But if you want to see what happens with their relationship and Caleb’s secret, it’s worth reading.
