A zombie apocalypse!!!! YAY!

Jake, the only narrator, will show you his world... his destroyed world. One day everything is perfect in his life, with his son, in the other he lost everything... but found Rex.
Rex is a mysterious survival . I hope I'm not spoiling anything but I must tell you he was, and still is a mystery, even now I finish the book.

I think I can explain better this book saying why my 3 tags... Erotica, Horror and sci-fi

Erotica because there are explicit sex, and in my view very well done . It's not a sex without plot story. The scenes are in the right moment, to both Jake and Rex. Jake is gay, Rex don't. Both men running and fighting for their lives will get closer, and maybe it will surprise you how fast it will happen... well I wasn't. In a situation of the end of the world I have no idea how I would react. How much I would want human contact... how much, I would be able to forget the past, living the freaking scary present. Jake and Rex lose everything, but find each other... so I think it's plausible they would connect so fast.
If it's love or not you must read to know. Yeah, I'm a teaser ... I know.

Horror
Don't read it if you don't like blood and gore ... and I'm not kidding.. it's a real warning. Example, Jake learn how to fire a gun using zombie heads as target
Oh yes, it's more than just a suspense, it's full of zombies and they are gross... so yes, some parts are pure horror scenes, with head exploding or eating human flesh monsters.

Sci-fi is certainly another tag I MUST give this book. It's a reality with superpowered humans? Oh read it to know... it's a book with weird alternate reality with something more than just undead creatures??? Oh, read to know... I can say it's more than just a zombie story... but my lips are sealed! No spoiler in my review!

My only criticism is the velocity of the story. The begin was perfect, action right away, but I miss more explanations, more time to slow down the plot and explain things. I hope there will be more because too many questions were not answered. The writing is very direct, very "what Jake see if what you are reading" sort of story... I know it's done to give the reader the sensation of be the main character, in his doubts and in this adventure... but I really miss more explanations, and hope all questions will be answered.

Do I recommend it?
oh certainly yes, if you want a erotica horror sci-fi, this book is for you... but, again, it's not an excessive erotic story, it's not a long horror full of blood and gore, and it's not a 1000 pages sci-fi saga. It's a nice story, with the perfect equilibrium between all the aspects... and so, I think it's worth your time and money.
I had a lot of fun reading it, and was scared in more than one scene... so oh YES, I want more... and I need more.

great story, 4 stars
