This was a really interesting book about brain malfunctions and they way in which these malfunctions are impacted by music. Some of the stories are frightening and maddening, but all are interesting. And I learned a lot about music, too.

Karen I just checked this out of the library and had not quite been able to get starteed with it. Have you read: "This Is Your Brain on Music" by Levitin? My son is busy writing his college essay and he is wrting about music. The music he went beyond resenting as a chore and grew to love as an expression of life and joy.
