It says a lot about a book when you re-read it and still can't put it down. I loved Myst and Nikolai's story the first time I read it in the anthology Playing Easy to Get and I think I loved it even more the second time around. This is a fantastic beginning to the Immortals After Dark series and even if you've read the novella and don't have a huge interest in reading it right now, it's worth the cost just to get a glimpse of the upcoming Lothaire. Kresley has posted an excerpt from Lothaire on her Facebook page but you get an extended look here, including a chapter of The Enemy of Old as a child.
