Wow lots of connections with this book. I was a bit afraid to read it at first since I have recently gone through the deaths of my sister, brother, and mother. And true there were connections with similar experiences since the book is about cancer, death, and familly. Overall though this was an uplifting love story about a woman in her late thirties and her dad. Both were diagnosed with cancer within six months of each other. A memoir of how she coped and her many wonderful memories of her family growing up and as adults. I was jealous because she had a loving, warm large extended family. There were lots of things I would have/ should have underlined in the book to go back and remember or reflect on. Sadly it is a library book and needs to go back in pristine condition for others.
