I seriously loved this book! :D Omg! Cabot made the perfect heroine in the story. I absolutely fell in love with Lucien. He was so dark and mysterious and HELLO! he's a freaking PRINCE, not just any kind of prince but the prince of DARKNESS! I also loved that he had to question himself how to act every time he encountered Meena. Its like he didn't know what came over him, he was desperate to find out more about her realizing what was at risk. Usually when i start reading books like this i don't fall in love with the lead character. I swear if i was lesbian i would love Meena too. lol Meena has so many qualities a girl heroine should have, courage, strength, intelligence, determination etc. Even though she has a secret of her own and has to carry this burden for the rest of her life and to top that off she is a freaking scriptwriter! :O I loved that she worked for a show called insatiable and how the show she is writing about influenced her ideas as soon as she meets Lucien. :D that's how much Cabot made me like the characters. Cabot's writing style is easily understandable and she doesn't spend so much time describing so many things (like in run-on sentences, i hate those things) she made her point clear and every time she changed the point's of view she does it in the precise time when she leaves you in suspense and you have to wait a chapter or so to see what happens. Beautiful work Cabot, i will be looking forward to the sequel :D
