This is a fast read - a biography of some of the author's life. He is a fellow Utahn and refers to many places and some people in Utah. It was interesting to read about Russia and some of his experiences there. How grateful I am to live in America! Innoticed that several times he repeated information he had previously given us - as though we wouldn't make the mental connection. The writing was ok, the details often felt a bit too personal - more like a church fireside talk than a novel. Glad Mike survived his ordeal, learned some profound lessons and found love. Not sure how wide-spread the audience for this book will be but for an LDS reader, the experience with the two Elders in Moscow was fun. Most touching moment of the book for me was the Christmas phone call with his own missionary son.
