Elizabeth Mock Started "The Name of the Wind" yesterday. Loving the way the story is unfolding. Very clever narrative device. I approve. I also like that Kvothe had a happy childhood and both of his parents. I also like the traveling troupe back story.

Tyler Not depressed yet? So much story to go... :)

Elizabeth Mock I'm only like 14 chapters in. I expect it to get supah dark given the haunted, tortured glimpses of Kvothe we've had. Something hella bad had to happen to drive him to the middle of nowhere.

Tyler At least you can have comfort in the fact that it can't be darker than GRRM.

Elizabeth Mock Truth. That man missed his true calling as a karaoke balladeer...

Tyler He DID!
