OMG, plotlines are definitely winding down. (I know the last book did it too, but this was at one point a Jordan; he could have introduced an entirely new arc and I wouldn't have been terribly surprised, death or no death.) And he doesn't leave everything hanging until the last book - I sort of thought some things were going to be left, but, nope, that whole thing happened. (Look at me, avoiding a spoiler.)

Anyway. Plenty of Mat, lots of Perrin (less mopey, thank goodness). Rand is also not moping around, which I still find nice. More Min than we've seen in a while, very little Aviendha. I don't know if this glossary was more useless than usual, but it certainly didn't contain anything I wanted to look up, *sigh*.

Overall worthwhile. One star was dinged because OMG, the marriages. Mild spoiler: (view spoiler)

There's still a lot to resolve, but I am cautiously optimistic the last book will do the series justice.
