I discovered this book in our garage. Lord knows from whence it came. There is no ISBN on this, but it does state it's the 100th Anniversary Edition and it came with 26 full-color stickers. I suspect this had been a gift to Beetle at some point.

Beatrix Potter isn't one I read a lot of over the years. I love the English used here . . . ah, our language has changed in the 100 years since this was written.

Nutkin was a rascally squirrel. In this time before the politically-correct crowd took over, he learned his lesson well from ol' Mr. Brown, the owl. This is the type of story I recall hearing as a boy. Who knows? Perhaps my mother read it to me then. :)
