Great follow-up to Stargirl. The book is one huge, long series of letters to Leo, who is still in Arizona, from Stargirl who has relocated (but where?) with her family. Stargirl is dealing with her feelings for Leo while trying to keep living her life. Her happy wagon gets dangerously low at several points, but she keeps going. Stargirl meets another boy, Perry, who she might have feelings for. Her new best friend is Dootsie, a first-grader, and she befriends and mentors Alvina, a 10-year old stuck between being a kid and a tween, who ends up beating p adn threatening people, while never cracking a smile. Stargirl also focuses on the Winter Solstice and her plan for that.
