Setting: The story starts in Idaho and end in Pasadena, California.

Characters: Michael Vey a boy who lives with his mother in Meridan, Idaho. He has the ability to shock people and things. His dad is dead. Ostin Michael's friend and a real smart kid. Taylor a girl at Michael's school and she can reboot people (make them forget what they were doing.) Hatch the evil genius behind the company who wants to take over the world. Jack and Wade are friends of Michael but were once bullies.

Good Points: There is no bad language and the story was very exciting and made you want to kknow everything what was going to happen.

Bad Points: None

Plot Summary:Michael has a secret - he can shock people. His mom doesn't want the secret out. He told Ostin, his friend, and they are fast friends. One day Michael is getting bullied and Michael sends a shock through the bullies. Taylor sees it and they share their secrets. They get captured by Hatch and the battle begins.

Ending: I liked the ending but it does lead to a next book with a cliffhanger.
