it was amazing
Read from November 23 to December 24, 2011

Stephen King knows how to write. Not only can he tell a story (duh), but he knows how to get readers invested in characters, relationships, and ideas. He can craft a beautiful sentence, too. Not all his novels are home runs, and I think I've gotten too old and too sensitive for some of his creepier fare, but I think King has also mellowed with age, if this novel is any indication. There's tension and violence in the novel, but it never felt over the top. 11/22/63 kept me hooked to my iPod for all 30 hours and 44 minutes of its running time; in fact, I was sad when it ended. Thanks for a great listen, Uncle Stevie.
