I have been waiting for Harvards book a long time now. Like I said before, Chase is special to me , because I think he's the diferent type of PNR heroe. When you read a book in this genre your main heroe is typically a scared male with a dark past that is revieled to the readers via flashbacks or recollection of past events. This is not the case with Sterling Chase. The once who followed the series witnessed he's downfall at first hand. Chase started off as a very promising young Breed male, with a bright future ahead of him and many possibilities. He was arrogant and maybe just a bit naive but the events that occured turned everything upside down...
To me Chase is more of a classic and temporary literature type of character, and that's basically the reason I felt excitement about his book. I could relate to him , because I got to witness his fallout and not get informed by a 3rd party or some flashback scenes.
With this in mind I felt overall satisfaction with his HEA. The action was fast paced and definitely kept my attention. I must admit I liked Tavia Fairchild, as she didn't annoy me too much (unlike Renata and Corine) I would like to assure the readers that this book is waaaay better than the previous one, which isn't hard to accomplish since Deeper Than Midnight is so damn near to disasterland.There was also a good connection between Chase and Tavia. They had the chemistry.

Of course there are some things I could rant about which I would put in spoilers.
First of all (view spoiler)[ What's up with the virgin thing? That was kind of rediculous. I mean in one moment we learn Tavia is a virgin the next everything is all gone and forgotten. It's like she put on some lipstick and washed it off after 5 min! This virginity thing, IMO, was totally unnecessary for the overall plot. Second of all, I thought that the scene where Dragos is killed felt kind of anti-climatic. And there is the mention of Atlantis...Why Atlantis, damn it! I am sick of Atlantis and I'm not afraid to say it! There are others mythological places that aren't soo well used up. I was rolling my eyes and I am not excited about the development of this plot line.
The Unated Nations meating in the epiloge was a bit out of place, me thinks. I'm not sure they would even let a whole bunch of big-ass vampires near a UN building , let along give them all seats. And exposing the Breed to the human world would bring bucket-loads of headache, IMO. But it could be interesting too see how that works out.
Even with those remarks I'm giving the book 5* , because the main couple was a good match, the action was really good and I'm satisfied with the book in general. (hide spoiler)]
