This was one of the simpler books of this series and a little disappointing. I enjoy L'Amour books because the are easy reads, straight-forward, with common sense and basic characters. This one was a little too ordinary. Basically, Sackett and his wife are travelling, wife is murdered, Tell Sackett is injured. Bad guys chase him around the entire book and in the end his 147 brothers from previous books somehow show up in the wilderness to save him. I'll move on to the eleventh [ of 17 ] book of this series.
