w o w.... you know i really don't bother with most sequels becasue they usually arent as good as the first, but this was soooo much better and thats saying something becasue the first one was amazing! In this book Tara is sent to Wood point Academy for hunter training, and at first i thought this book wasnt going to be good cause im usually not into the highschool scene but this place and its people blew me away with personality!
The people's personalities... hmm well i enjoyed the characters more in this book than the last. To me Tara was i dunno, kind of flat in Dirty Blood, and in this she got more developed and i enjoyed her a lot more. Now the love interests (thats right there is more than one;)) Wes and my personal favorite, Alex. ok first off right now i'm all for Alex! Ah Alex i love ya man, in this story Alex is her personal trainer and well him and Tara start off rocky but then later on become friends (does this sound familiar?? hm ya just like what happened with Tara and Wes...). i dunno why but to me Wes is well... FLAT! he did have potential but screwed that up more than twice to Tara in Cold Blood! and come on if ya'll read this Alex is pretty funny sometimes AND he cares about Tara's opinion on things and SUPPORTS those opinions! Oh and then there is Miles... holy, i never had to take a shower because of a character in a story, Miles is a C R E E P. that is the one word i can come up with to overall describe him. ya total creep vibe.
Alright done with talking about creepers, another thing that made this book better than the first is the story. i enjoyed the first book's, but this one was way more exciting!! with Mile's creep calls, Alex's and Tara's growing romance, and Victoria's bullying (Victoria is queen bee in this story) it made the story very tense and exciting!
Overall 5 out of 5 stars! Bravo Heather!
happy reading ya'll;)
