I wanted to love this book, I really did! I really got into it at the beginning and was so intrigued with the plot and where it was going. I just didn't realize the language would be as bad as it was, and then the explicit scenes were too much.

I think the author has a gift of writing as I was pulled into the story from the beginning. My review is nothing against the author's talent, story line, etc. Just a disappointment of language and explicit scenes I was unaware of. Skipping those scenes while reading is doable, but the language was hard to ignore and made it hard for me to continue.

Kathleen By language do you mean swearing? If so, basic dam* or rougher stuff, like religious profanity? Or are you referring to references to body parts, like cun* and other similar terms?
