it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction, plants, five-stars
Read from November 21 to December 02, 2011

This book is fabulous. It's a volume of quirky tales about veggies with quite a bibliography. I think if you're a layperson interested in the history of vegetables, this book is worth it for the bibliography alone. But it's the stories that are the fun part, of course.

I plan to buy a copy for some of my gardening friends so that they can enjoy it also. :)
