Nice young adult, simple adventure. I enjoyed the even hand the author takes in this series with regards to female characters. While the lead male characters are stereotypical (big, wanna-be-bad wolf boy antagonist and strong & silent male protagonist), the female characters are pretty evolved. Not necessarily plausible given that they're a bunch of mutants. :)But I'll give a hand for the effort.

Fast-paced plot with a smart-mouthed protagonist are its good points. Bad points would be the predictability of plot an characters (even villains).
