I really enjoyed this book. It is a more modern twist on Egyptian mythology. This book made the daily life of a Royal Egyptian come to life. It is so interesting to me. I love the suspense that is in this book. The unsettling feeling that something is hidden on the next page. The friendships that are built and the secrets that are held. I just really love the way of writing.
This book is all about the secrets held within the walls of the Palace. I loved this book and how it made the lifestyle of the Egyptians come to life, and how it made the skeptical feelings actually feel like they were mine. In this book the main character is Nefertiti, the promised wife to the future Pharaoh. She fights to retain her freedom and keep her spit-fire spirit, all the while trying to attain her freedom from marrying the future Pharaoh.
