Then Again
by Diane Keaton
by Diane Keaton
I'm a fan of Diane or "Di-Annie" as her parents lovingly refer to her throughout the book. This read was an insightful glimpse into her relationships with family, friends, her children and show business. It also highlighted her battles with bulimia and self esteem. The book centered quite a bit on Diane's mothers journals and how she related to them as she became older and also a mother. The glimpse into Diane's life choices are refreshing as she went against the typical "love", marriage, kids combination. There wasn't as much movie star gossip as I expected but "then again" that made me love her even more.
