A fictionalized account of Ernest Hemingway's first marriage at the very beginning of his career, the Paris Wife was entertaining but ultimately not that satisfying a read for me. There was some great name dropping with the literary crowd the Hemingway's surrounded themselves with, and the descriptions if the various settings - Paris, Pamplona, Aantibes etc were great too, but I really didn't find Hadley to be that interesting a character. Hemingway was drawn very nicely - passionate, dynamic, explosive, melancholy, and more - I really felt him very strongly.
