Finally read this a little while back, for reader's advisory purposes. It's decent, I can see the appeal, with a heroine with attitude (little bit of an airhead though), some romantic elements, light-hearted & fast paced, wise cracking, heroine learns and grows, funny & supportive family elements. Ok. Not quite my kind of fluffy read though.

Anna Ack! Really? I highly recommend them for car trips. I once gave this book to a lady to read while she was waiting for jury duty and got her in trouble for laughing too much. Good times.

Annmarie Hey, I gave it one more star than Wicked Appetite! ;) I thought I should try one of her early ones, from before she got on the Plum wagon of seventeen million books. I'd enjoy it at jury duty too, but otherwise, meh.
I did really like The Spellman Files, however.
