We have really enjoyed reading the Fancy Nancy series by Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser. The stories certainly appeal to our girls sense of whimsy, design and flair and the stories are entertaining and usually have a lesson or some sort of moral that is subtly incorporated into the tale. I also love that children are exposed to new and usually challenging vocabulary words with these books.

I like this simple story about Christmas - it's not overly complicated, but still reminds us of the joys of decorating the tree and the memories from treasured ornaments. We really enjoyed reading this book together.
