Another fun and exciting installment from Brandon Mull, with high adventure and plot twists that make you say, "huh?"
I found this book to be very much in line with the others and a salve for my longing for a new Harry Potter book. Seth and Kendra are still very enjoyable characters, with Seth still doing stupid things that somehow turn out to be the only thing that could have been done. I was pretty happy that Seth has his own abilities to rival Kendra.
I must say, though, I was a little annoyed at the cliffhanger part of the ending, the teaser for installment 5. I was already planning to read #5! No need to make me wait a whole year wondering what's going to happen, okay?!
