Read from November 19 to 23, 2011

Told from the point of view of the five-year-old born during captivity and having never been out in the "outside". The young mother was kidnapped 7 years ago and placed in a shed with fencing under, around, and over the roof keeping her from getting out. I don't know how she keeps it together to tell you the truth. The story begins with the little boy turning 5. The mother has found ways of coping by keeping them in a routine of different activities. That's as far as I am.
