It has been a month since Jason has been found and he is about to experience his first transformation. Luckily, for Sookie, he loves it so there's one less point to add to her list of life complications. Her love is complicated in terms with Bill and Eric (who has since regained his memory and cannot remember his week with Sookie), not to mention that technically, Sookie is a murderer. But before things look good, shapeshifters are being targeted and once again, Jason is at the centre of it all. It is up to Sookie to solve the case as well as become involved in the match for the new werewolf Packmaster....

When peopkle ask me which is my favourite Sookie Stackhouse book, I say it is a difficult toss-up between "Dead to the World" and "Dead as a Doornail". The myster is awesome and there is enough action (especially at the end) to sastify Stackhouse fans. It is a shapeshipter fest out there and it is done brilliantly. The sexual tension between Eric and Sookie is brilliant added to the fact that there is a hint of "will they again, won't they again?" vibe from Sookie and Bill. Go...read...now!!!
