As the title suggests, a collection of Native American tales told through comics. Each tale is presented by a different author and illustrator team to give the tales slight variation. The premise was interesting, though I'm not completely convinced that the intended audience would be in love with this book. It almost asks for previous knowledge of the legends before reading. Regardless, wonderful artwork.

Liesl omg I read this too! I would agree that it definitely helps to have knowledge of the myths beforehand--I picked it up because of my interest in Trickster tales but not sure what middle school kids would think of it
