really liked it

Tight, precise people led stories.

Reading these I felt like I'd taken a godly microscope and zoomed in on peoples lives. When reading I gained access to their innermost thoughts and feelings. It was a privileged and at times painful place to be. Dubus seems to write particularly well about women.

I will defiantly seek out more of his writing. He may single-handedly have erased my doubts about the form of the short story.
