Another Amelia Peabody mystery so soon because I needed to know what was happening with Ramses. Yeah, I've fallen under the Ramses' spell. In this one, the trio of young people are most active and have almost equal time in the plot. We encounter an old nemesis, an old foe and an old acquaintance. Everything is old and new. 1907, Emerson is still cleaning up old, discovered, abandoned tombs. We witness Theodore Davis' crew finding the tomb of Queen Tiyi, but is it really? High drama, murders and daring escapes are present in this novel. I'm looking forward to "The Falcon at the Portal" but not until late June.
