Kind of a heart-wrencher, from beginning to end. It was truly a good story and plot, although something aggravated me a lot: there was a definite line that one character was following, a nothing-will-change-my-mind-ever-ever-PERIOD that, in the next section, was completely blown wide and ignored. I can understand how people can be indecisive, but there was far too much of the definitely-staying-this-course to where, when the change came, it seemed more like a complete 180 rather than a compromise and adjustment of decision.

Despite how short it was, I did feel that both of the characters made great strides toward both inner and outer changes, although Joe most of all.
