it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, own-it, dark-scary-or-mysterious-shit

I totally enjoy his short story and/or novella collections. There's something for every taste! It's been a while since I've read this one, or I would tell you more about which stories I liked the best... "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band" was hilarious. S.K. can be soooo delightfully campy! "Crouch End" was one of those where the terror and ALONENESS of the survivor is especially touching and sticks with me even after years. I can never say why it's like that when it happens, but it did with her.
