It was ok. I took me a lot longer than usual to get through the story because it just did not seem to grab my attention. I was maybe a little over half way through before things started getting remotely interesting. I like a good mystery especially with a kick ass female and a love story to boot. Unfortunately, the sexual tension seemed forced to me. She lost her husband and has had several bad things happen to her in her life. When her husband died, he felt like he could not leave her because she needed him so badly. She has spent the next couple of years talking to him in her head and having ghostly hot sex with him. When they have a fight and he disappears, she does not even seem that broken up about it. She is hot for every man she comes into contact with...really? The next book in the series sounds a little better and sometime in a series, it takes a little time to move things along. We will see.
