Sometimes the main character is just a little too precious and she appears to be written as overly self-involved, at least the 'why is everyone picking on me' vibes get less with every book. That being written, this was an enjoyable story. There is something about the character that makes one want to see if she is going to allow herself to grow up, if she does then she will be awesome (and the stories even better).
