** spoiler alert ** This is a sweet story with cute illustrations and both my boys (ages 4 & 8) loved it. It's a story that's been told before but it's always worth hearing again.

"Little Hedgehog was making his bed for the winter when a sudden gust of wind blew him off his feet. It took hold of his cozy nest and tossed it high in the air."

Now that he's homeless, he sets off to his friend's house. Luckily, he has a scarf, hat, and mittens. Along the way he saw a mommy mouse with her two little ones shivering in the grass. He gave them his hat. Next he ran into Otter with shivering paws so he gave him his mittens. Then he came to mommy deer and her shivering fawn so he wrapped his scarf around the fawn's neck.

He hurried off but slid on ice and went bumping and bouncing through the snow right to Badger's door. Badger brought him in and warmed him up. Once the storm was over, he and Badger went back to where his house used to be. Of course he found the animals he'd helped along the way had returned the favor by building him the coziest nest he'd ever seen!
