I LOVED this book! Escapism at its best, with some romance and a bit of suspense thrown in.

I liked the author's writing style and I just couldn't put this down. I really needed a light read and I'm glad I chose this. The character development is great - it was easy to connect with the sisters, and the plot keeps you guessing, especially towards the end.

I'm a fan of all things magical and this was fun, lightweight magic. It was fun to let the surroundings and scenery ferment in my imagination and I loved the apple tree!!

My only criticism is that the thoughts of Bay, Sydney's daughter, seemed a little too mature for a 5 year old, but who knows what magic can do? I guess it worked with the story and I liked it.

A great book, would definitely recommend to someone in need of a quick, fun read.

Tisha I read this book earlier in the year and enjoyed it too! Good point about Bay...she surely was an old soul huh. :)
