When charming Harry Saunders comes to a small Welsh village, naturally Mrs. Lloyd, widowed and retired, is interested. He's glad to play bridge with her, dance with her, and take her out to dinner. She can't tell, though her friends can, that he's after her money. But he's after something else as well--a clue to an old mystery. A sudden death leaves several people suspected by the police, including Penny Brannigan's beau. Even though Penny is working to get her new spa open by Christmas, she can't resist a plea to help find the murderer, especially when she decides the crime is linked to a series of robberies in the area.
