My Review:
While I loved this little return to Fool's Gold, I think that Susan Mallery writes better full-length novels rather than novellas. This story wrapped everything up (i.e. the conflict in the story) just a little too easily and I had a hard time believing the sudden transition in Cameron's way of thinking. I liked the insight into Cameron and Rina's lives within Fool's Gold and by the appearance of a few Fool's Gold favorite characters, but that just wasn't enough to carry the story for me. I absolutely adore Susan's writing and that didn't change with this novella...it just needed more for it to work for me. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed this hour spent revisiting one of my favorite towns in this Fool's Gold novella. I can't wait to have more full-length novels in this series!

I have to agree with you that Mallery is better at the full length stories.
