A bit tedious to read (as many true crime novels are), but the subject was very interesting. I hadn't known much about the "Manson Family" murders, including that the "family" was not a family but more of a cult. This was truly a series of bizarre murders and murder trials, and worth reading about. Scary to think that Manson is still out there, up for parole every few years.
