Ride with Me is a wonderful, warm, funny, sexy romance about an unlikely couple who pair up for a bicycle ride across the States. I was lucky enough to read the book before its release, and I’m thrilled that the world is finally going to be able to enjoy this fantastic story.

Ruthie always writes such lovely, spirited heroines, and Lexie is no exception—she’s independent, warm-hearted and courageous, although she does sensibly baulk at riding such a long distance alone, hence her ad for a companion on her journey.

Tom is a mouth-wateringly gorgeous alpha hero, tall, dark, brooding, reserved and none too happy about having to babysit Lexie for the duration of the trip. However, it’s not long before he decides the bike’s not the only thing he’s in the mood for riding ;) The moment where Tom checks Lexie’s tire for leaks is quite possibly the sexiest thing I’ve ever read! You’ll know which bit I mean when you get there :)

Ruthie’s sex scenes are hot, hot, hot, but she also somehow manages to inject an amazing amount of emotion into every chapter, and the denouement is a real tears-pricking-the-eyes moment. She’s laugh-out-loud funny too, and the love scene on the shiny pink sheets with all the static is wonderful. The setting for this book is really enjoyable, she does an amazing job of bringing to life the places the characters pass through.
