f. scott is one of my faves and i don't know how i missed this book back in the day when i was in full obsession. the novel is soaked in alcohol. it is also interesting that everyone is married by 21 and to be 26 is old. so not of this time. the story of a married man falling for a beautiful 18 year old actress is nothing new but the sweet decline is pure f. scott fitzgerald. i don't think this is his best book, but its definitely worth the trip down memory lane.
