it was amazing

I read the pre-pub version of THE FALCONER and it blew me away. Totally. Blew. Me. Away. Don't tell my editor, but I set aside my own novel's revisions to finish this story in a day. I devour a lot of YA paranormal and most of it is just okay. Forgettable, even. That is not the case with THE FALCONER.

There is just something about the story that went beyond the ordinary into the "this so rocks" category. Between the compelling voice of the tormented heroine and the historical Edinburgh/steampunk setting, the story sang. I can't wait to see it on the shelves and read it all over again.

Disclaimer: Elizabeth and I are friends but if this story didn't work for me I wouldn't be posting this review.

Elizabeth May Thank you so much, Jana! And for reading, too. :D

Jana Oliver It was entirely my pleasure. I love it when a book goes super nova and I had the joy of reading it before most of the rest of the world.

Fran (FP Editing Services) I can't wait to read the book!! :)

Wendy Hold the phone, Jana. Are you sitting on an ARC for Elizabeth's book? I so want to read this.
