This book was an odd mix of a spy vs spy theme and fashion. Original yes, a good mix, not so much. I was amused by several things in the book: Milgrim's child like nature, how Hubertus was simultaneously an antagonist and a wildcard. Being a fan of the author's previous works, I was willing to give this one a try and wasn't disappointed in his style. I surprised myself on how much looking forward to a good scifi book can lead to a disappointment in a reading. True, not fair to this work. I give full marks to the author for competently joining the two subject matters without blowing the believability of the plot. I was thinking two stars for the book's ability in keeping my attention, but I think an extra star for creativity is warranted.
