Mac Slater loves flying. To him it’s the coolest thing in the world. The only problem is, will everyone else agree with him? After a flying experiment goes wrong Tony and Speed ask Mac to become a Coolhunter. His job: go around his hometown of King’s Bay hunting all things cool. The prize: a trip to New York, new gadgets and all things cool. The odds: he is up against the coolest girl in school, Cat DeVrees. Mac can’t possible stand a chance. Or can he? The Rules of Cool has all the regular stereotypes, the cool group, the geeks, the wannabes, yet this time the geeks and hippies are taking a chance and might just pull it off.

This is a really cool book and a very enjoyable read. Look out for book two of the new Mac Slater, Coolhunter series.
