You already know if you'll be offended.

My favorite part of the book is the evaluation of the ten commandments and "One Athiest's Suggestions." I thought his suggestions were brilliant. The suggestions come unevenly spaced throughout a collection of essays, many but not all regarding various faith and athiesm. Some have laugh-out-loud funny bits, some are poignant, and some are just plain longwinded. Some are all three.

Penn rants. He's prolifically profane. A self-described asshole, he is. It shows. He also can tell a good story and is willing to acknowlege when he's been wrong. If he'd been reined in by an editor it would have been a better book, but it wouldn't have been Penn Jillette.

I'm not sure where to shelve this. Nonfiction, surely, but it's some memoir, some humor and more than a little essay.

And if you already know you'll be offended, there are a lot of other books on the shelf for you.
