Stephanie Plum is at it again in the second book of her series. I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the first book though. Having character development done in the first book already, I found this book to be sort of....boring. The plot wasn't very thought provoking, it was quite easy to determine the books outcome and I found the "villains" to be boring as well (I thought the name Moogey Bues was so stupid). The character that I enjoyed the most was Joyce Barnhardt, Stephanie's enemy throughout her life, even though she wasn't in the book much. I thought the quarrels between them were hilarious, as well as Stephanie's team up with Lula in the big apartment break-in, and of course, Stephanie and Grandma Mazur's team up. Grandma Mazur's character will never get old. Be aware that something finally happens between Joe Morelli and Stephanie this book that goes much further than in the first book. This was a good, light read with some boring parts, but I can't wait to read the rest of the books.
