The positive: I really, really loved this. A ton. I loved its meditation on how mythologizing people does a disservice to them and to us, its thoughts about isolation and feeling fake, its honest look at friendship in high school. I just really loved it.

The negative: Margo is way less MPDG than Alaska Young was (my only other John Green experience), but some of the trappings persist.

The summary: I enjoyed the heck out of this book, and am happily looking forward to The Fault in Our Stars.
