This book came as a shocker to me in that I am head over heels in love with it. The cover grabbed me initially but when I read the synopsis and saw that it was an angel book I was a little leery since I’m not a huge fan of angel books other than Cynthia Hand’s Unearthly series. I had borrowed it from a friend and needed to get it back to her so I made myself pick it up and if you read my Top Ten Tuesday post you saw that I felt like this was one book you want to read all in one day.
Anna was an interesting character in that she is portrayed as the goody goody girl who doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, etc. and could have come across as rather boring. Instead she has this darker undercurrent to her personality that will intrigue the reader and makes her likeable in that everyone can relate to these impulses Anna struggles to deny. But as much as I enjoyed Anna’s character I am all about Kaidan! See my full review at Debbie's World of Books.
